Reclaiming Our Space (ROSE) is a program within SOMCAN that combines art and design with community planning to organize, empower, and strengthen the SOMA community, especially immigrant and working class youth, families and seniors. By reclaiming space through art and community-defined planning and development, land is reclaimed by and for the working class in SOMA.

SOMCAN’S ROSE

The South of Market Community Action Network (SOMCAN) is proud to organize the ROSE Youth Summer program. The program is going to be from June 19, 2019 to August 9, 2019, twice a week, Wednesday 12pm to 3pm and Friday 12pm to 3pm.

ROSE Youth Summer Program is about Social Equity and Urban Planning in the South of Market, San Francisco and it’s relationship to the power of art and design.
